Fashion Photography
As a photographer:
Inspired by fashion and locations, Mandi began to elaborate on her passion for photography in high school. She obtained her BFA in 2004 from Ringling College of Art + Design in Sarasota, Florida. That year she was awarded the Presidential Award for her personal work on Polaroid lifts on plexi (shown in film archive). Having gained knowledge of traditional and alternative chemical processes, studio and on-location shooting, she thrives on working as a team in effort to create the perfect narrative. Residing in Columbus, Ohio, she continues to elaborate on her creative and technical abilities as a conceptual photographer and digital photo retoucher.
Mandi currently accepts freelance work in all areas of fashion, editorial, pin-up, and intimate portraiture.
As a permanent cosmetic specialist:
In 2008, she pursued formal training for permanent cosmetic applications from The Beau Institute in Mount Laurel, based in New Jersey. When 2011 opened its doors, Mandi’s path has lead her to discover Evolved’s sister company, Rendezvous Hair Salon, to be a perfect fit, offering her a position as a permanent cosmetics specialist, she is available by appointment only.
